The dense foliage of this slow growing shade tree remains an excellent maroon-red all season long. Spring flowers of attractive maroon and yellow are a bonus. This cultivar, known for its straight trunk and well-shaped head, originated as a seedling of 'Schwedleri'. Approx diameter: 1"
